Who We Are

An immigrant industry deserves an organization of its own.

Chinese Trucking Association of California Inc (CTAC) is a California nonprofit trade association serving Chinese-speaking truck drivers, owner-operators and trucking businesses. Our focus includes port drayage, long-haul and regional freight operations across California.

CTAC supports Chinese-speaking trucking professionals building their businesses and careers in California. We provide bilingual industry resources, practical tools, and opportunities to connect, helping drivers and fleets find information, understand requirements, and communicate shared concerns.

Mission & Stance

An association for a deeply immigrant industry

Industry first, immigrant backdrop

Our work centers on shared industry interests: access to information, group purchasing, business operations and policy concerns. We aim to represent the practical needs of Chinese-speaking drivers and small trucking businesses.

A threefold mission: Bargain · Speak · Grow

Bargain — leverage industry-wide volume to lower operating costs. Speak — carry members' concerns into the policy conversation. Grow — make this industry's unique realities understood and heard.

What we don't do

  • Not a vendor sales channel — we vet for members, not sell for vendors.
  • No individual legal or tax advice — consult licensed professionals for specific cases.
  • No partisan political campaigns — focused on industry policy and member interests.

Governance
